Thursday

Well, we've arrived in Kansas!  Mostly safe and sound.  My friend's mom came and got joey, as w\hw was to be staying with her til we find a place.  Unfortunatly, he got scared when she got him to her house, backed out of his lead, and ran away.  I looked for him for hours, but no dice.  I DID just have his rabies and 5 in 1 done Tuesday, as well as microchipped, but his microchip infor wont be ready for a couple of weeks they tell me.  I called the local animal control and let them know of the situation and gave them my phone number in case a dog matching his description with an unregisted chip comes through.  So I've been a bawling mess.  Getting ready to head out and look for him again now.  Seems almost silly to ask for prayers over it, but I had a dream about a week ago that he got hit by a car badly, but lived through it.  I hope this is not the case, and pray that if I can't find him, some nice person did and takes him to animal control today.  I know he's hungry, and it was 105 here yesterday.

Aww!  I pray that you find him.  Pets are just like kids to some of us.   I hope you find him soon.

Darrah,  I am so glad you made it there safe. I know it has been hotter than billy blue blazes. I hope you find Joey soon, I'm sending up my prayers for you all. I'm sure your friend feels terrible. Hope to hear good news soon! I'm still feeling as weak as a new born pup, & coughing my head off. I think this virus has kicked me in the butt long enough- I'm ready to be over this! I finally got a protien shake down today, so that helped. Dana has been so good at taking care of me- I just hope he doesn't get it! (((hugs))) Ellen
